General Ophthalmologist

Overview

A well-established independent solo practice is seeking to add a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to the fold. This is a rare opportunity to work independently rather than within the confines of corporate medicine.

Since 1998, we have provided excellent patient-centered care to the Texas Hill Country and the surrounding area. We have our own physician-owned surgery center across the parking lot from our practice building. A beginning or mid-career Ophthalmologist will find this to be an excellent opportunity if they desire to eventually own their own practice and have a partnership interest in their own surgery center.

Team and Environment

We have a dedicated staff of nurses, technicians, billers, and schedulers at both the practice and the surgery center, with very low staff turnover. They are committed to the needs of the physician, as well as the patient.

Responsibilities / Opportunities

• One MD with a high clinical and surgical volume that is ready to slow down and is willing to mentor a new physician.
• An experienced team of technicians, nurses, billers, and schedulers.
• Great work / life balance which includes no hospital call coverage. We only provide coverage for our own established patients.
• Beautiful small town with great schools and in close proximity to San Antonio.
• We are not interested in being acquired by corporate or private equity entities.

Compensation

Compensation includes salary and benefits, including bonus based on productivity and health insurance.
