Job description

A highly respected healthcare system is adding a Hematologist / Oncologist to one of their nationally accredited comprehensive cancer centers in western Maryland.Excellent earning potential!

Practice Overview

  • Join 2 Hem / Onc and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Average 16-18 patients / day
  • Weekend call 1 : 3 (very light)
  • On-site Radiation Oncology and Pharmacy
  • Active National Clinical Trials program
  • Nationally accredited Breast Care Center and Designated Lung Screening Center
  • Flexibility - Open to a 4-day or 5-day week

Compensation & Benefits

  • Current physicians are averaging $800,000 per year
  • $100,000 retention bonus - $25,000 / year for four years
  • Generous benefits package including health, dental, vision, and pension plan
  • CME allowance of $5,000 plus 5 days
  • 22 PTO days - plus holidays
  • $10,000 relocation allowance

    Enjoy the four seasons of Western Maryland, where scenic beauty, history, and outdoor adventure blend with small-town friendliness. The area's many parks, bike trails, theatres, art galleries, and boutiques are worth visiting. The Cumberland downtown area is home to many artisans and galleries. It is an easy two-hour drive from Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and D.C.
