Job description

We are seeking a skilled Invasive-Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a beautiful area of Utah, near Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide coverage in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Position Details :

Location : Utah (near Richmond, UT)
Start Date : January 20, 2025
End Date : March 31, 2025
Shift Times : Various shifts, typically 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM on specified dates

January 20th to February 1st

February 10th to February 17th

March 10th to March 17th

March 24th to March 31st

Coverage Needed : ER call coverage for interventional cardiology, including primary and interventional call 24 / 7

Patient Volume : Approximately 12 patients per day

Special Skills Needed :

Expertise in interventional cardiology

Proficiency in echocardiography, including Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)

Key Features of the Role :

Facility Type : 238-bed facility

Support Staff : 3-person, 24 / 7 call team

Lab Staffing : Two labs staffed Monday to Wednesday, one lab staffed Thursday and Friday

EMR Systems Used : Epic, Meditech, Merge MUSE

Call Requirements : Must be available for interventional cardiology call around the clock during the assignment dates

Qualifications :

Valid Utah medical license required (no exceptions)

Strong background in invasive interventional cardiology

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with various support staff

Comfortable working with Epic and Meditech EMR systems
