Job descriptionA hospital near Sacramento is looking for an experienced Cardiovascular ICU RN for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and a CA License. 2 years of experience in Cardiac ICU Active California RN License 2 supervisor references (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked 12 hr shifts, starting at 645 Every other weekend Holidays rotate with core staff Schedules are out 4 weeks in advance Self-scheduling is used, but not finalized until Manager balances it Common diagnoses include AMI, AVR, MVR, respiratory failure, renal failure, IABP, CRRT, Empella, therapeutic hypothermia Chest tube insertion, intubation, and emergency sternotomies are common procedures 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation with a preceptor Modules are required to be completed before start (3-4 hours, not billable) Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit within the past year DYS exam through UNA is required prior to acceptance, must be completed within 24-48 hours
