Connecticut ER RN Job Details Location : Meriden, CT 06451 (Connecticut nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (ED) Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 – End : 3 / 1 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am) Hours per Week : 36 hours Schedule : Every other weekend and every other holiday required Type : Travel Nursing Contract No On-Call Required Estimated Weekly Salary : $2090-$2140 ER RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience Experience in an ED with patient volume over 150 visits / day EPIC ASAP module experience within the past 6 months Current NIHSS certification (one-year certification required) Ability to commit to full 13-week assignment (maximum 2 weeks requested time off) Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a busy emergency department Perform rapid assessments and interventions for acute medical conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members Accurately document patient care using EPIC ASAP Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Participate in ongoing nursing education and training Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Connecticut and make a meaningful impact in emergency care.
