This contract role includes per diem, temp housing, and travel allowance.
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates the nursing units services with those of the medical and administrative systems
- Participates as a member of the hospitals leadership team in planning, policy formulation
- Responsible for patient care, safety, and satisfaction, along with management, resource management, and fiscal management. Works closely with administrative and medical staff, in coordinating patient care service functions
- Must be able to manage, direct, and supervise the surgical services staff
- Provides staff with departmental orientations, communication, meetings, training / development, and ongoing education, to ensure compliance with hospital policies / processes, and regulatory requirements
