Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner

Health Service Alliance is a community health center in the southern Inland Empire area that is looking for a licensed Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our growing program. This clinic is 100% outpatient with no on-call. The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, with a lunch break.

The ideal candidate will be able to comfortably manage seeing an average of 18 patients per day. All relevant state licenses are required. Working knowledge of electronic health records necessary, experience with eClinicalWorks highly preferred.

Duties include but not limited to :

• Examine patients to assess general physical condition.
• Diagnose medical conditions.

Prescribe therapy or medication with physician approval.

Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.

Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.

Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.

Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
