This position will be part of a newly created sales team focused on the psychiatry space responsible for the performance of a long-acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia. The role of the Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will cover the Seattle, Portland, and Anchorage market. The Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving and delivering results in a compliant and ethical manner. This role will be focused on institutional selling efforts, including a focus on the hospital channel for the long-acting injectable therapy. The Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will possess an understanding of organizational objectives and align resources appropriately to meet those objectives. While pursuing their goals, the incumbent will uphold the culture and values of Teva in all interactions and business matters. They will analyze trends and apply knowledge to their customer interactions to deliver value. Additionally, the Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will effectively and efficiently plan and complete all business activities via aligned objectives and analytics and will maximize available resources. The Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial networks / relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The Institutional Hospital Sales Representative will possess impactful and influential communication and presentation skills and keep the objective in mind while moving the customer towards the solution.

- Develop effective business plans to meet and exceed territory-level sales goals. Possess the understanding and ability to sell in different settings of care and identify key business opportunities within these settings.
- Demonstrate a collaborative sales approach and coordinate efforts between sales leadership, other Teva sales teams, market access, sales operations, and training.
- Adhere to all Teva compliance guidelines, operate with integrity, and ensure the sales team adheres to these policies.
- Review weekly / monthly data reports to identify trends and make plans to address concerns. Build rapport and relationships by interacting effectively with employees and external contacts (i.e., HCP and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating the awareness of their needs and responding with the appropriate action.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to appropriately promote the product and provide product and patient education.
- Work closely with specialty pharmacy facilities to ensure product availability and provide education, as necessary.
- Remain apprised of all product formulary developments within hospitals by working closely with the P&T committee.
- Work with the discharge coordinator to understand patient follow-up treatment and transitions of care.
- Following the sales plan, maintain a call average, defined as face-to-face interactions with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.

Education / Certification / Experience
Bachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required, preferably in the long-acting injectable schizophrenia spaceExperience in the hospital setting with a detailed understanding of buy and bill, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services requiredExperience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferredSpecific experience with long-acting injectables for the treatment of schizophrenia in the hospital setting preferredExperience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of careInjectable and in-office administration experience within a mental health facilityThe ability to operate within complex settings and networks and provide customer insights effectivelySkills / Knowledge / Abilities
Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technologyUnderstanding of reimbursement coverage and pull through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)Understanding of the buy-and-bill model.Leadership skills and ability to collaborate with multiple sales teamsProven written and verbal communication skillsValid US driver's license and acceptable driving record requiredTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Extensive travel throughout the assigned region, which may include air travel and weekend or overnight travel.
The annual starting salary for this position is between $120,000 155,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position also qualifies for participation in the company's sales incentive plan, which rewards employees based on their achievement of defined sales targets and adheres to the plan's established guidelines.
