Job description

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S.,   is seeking al  Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B   at our  Martin Brower  facility in  East Point, GA.

Prior experience with lift gates, trailers, and reefer units is highly desireable.

Shift :  Tuesday-Saturday  10 : 30am-7 : 00pm OR 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am

Pay : $28.00 - $34.00 / hr, Based on experience / qualifications

Position Responsibilities :

  • The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed
  • As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance
  • You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration
  • You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices
  • Other duties as assigned

    • Required Education and Experience :

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
  • Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
