Job description

Vice President FinanceFresno, California, United States (On-site)

We’re seeking an experienced  Vice President of Finance  to join a leading manufacturing company with 25+ years of success. This on-site leadership role in Fresno, CA offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all financial operations and lead strategic financial planning to drive growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop & Execute Financial Strategies  aligned with company goals.
  • Lead Financial Forecasting , capital planning, and risk management.
  • Oversee Accounting Functions , including cost accounting and monthly closing.
  • Ensure Compliance  with GAAP, tax laws, and industry standards.
  • Prepare Financial Reports  and present variance analysis to leadership.
  • Manage Audits  and collaborate with external advisors.
  • Analyze Production Costs , packaging efficiency, and contract profitability.
  • Collaborate Across Teams  to evaluate margins, contracts, and new product initiatives.
  • Lead & Mentor  a high-performing finance team.
  • Support ERP System Integration  (NetSuite, RedZone).

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree  in Finance, Accounting, or related field;  MBA  preferred.
  • CPA designation  highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in finance, with 10+ years in senior roles within manufacturing or food processing industries.
  • Expertise in  food safety systems ,  P&L management , and  regulatory compliance .
  • Proficiency in  ERP systems  (NetSuite, RedZone) and knowledge of  FDA, USDA , and  SQF standards .
