About the Role

Join us as the Director of Development, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and management of our contributed income streams. This includes overseeing membership programs, corporate sponsorships, special fundraising events, planned giving, capital funding, and grant writing initiatives. As the primary relationship manager for our major donors, sponsors, and stakeholders, you will set the vision to enhance and maximize our fundraising efforts across diverse channels.

In addition to your fundraising responsibilities, you will collaborate with our team on day-to-day operations, public relations, and long-term strategic planning, acting as the key staff liaison for our Board of Trustees Development Committee and various campaign committees.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in development leadership, displaying a strong track record in major gift solicitation, capital campaigns, and effective donor stewardship. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the strategic thinking needed to cultivate and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
