Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for various proceduresCervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeriesStroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke ProgramA high volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow casesAs part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , our team incorporates the latest neurosurgical techniques.

Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans with patient and family involvement.Recognize significant changes in patient status and adjust care plans as necessary.Develop and execute discharge plans collaboratively.Foster a culture of safety and effective communication within the healthcare team.Engage in quality improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities.Licensure, Registration, and Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Ability to provide holistic patient care and effective communication.Critical decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
