Application Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer (AE) with a solid background in electronics engineering, SW development and hands-on experience in testing digital / highspeed digital devices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), specifically utilizing Advantest's V93000 hardware and SmarTest 8 software. This role will be critical in developing, implementing, and optimizing test solutions for next-generation high performance computing devices.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide technical leadership and support in the sales and support of V93000 Semiconductor Test Systems and Applications for Advantest customers and their partners.
• Strong problem solver with good technical capabilities, good communication skill, self-motivated, customer focus and result oriented
• Focus during varies of the sales process range from : including requirements analysis, feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation and execution.
• Ensures the Advantest products function per specifications.
• Integrates Advantest products and services (at the system / solutions level) into customer's environment.
• Perform analysis of complex IC manufacturer customer requirements providing expertise on topics such as : Performance, Design, Utilization, Optimization, test program development / conversions and Implementation Strategies.
• Accountable for the design, scoping, and technical validity of the solution to achieve the customer's business objectives.
• Identifies Advantest and Non-Advantest resources required to deliver customer solutions and tracks and manages the committed deliverables.
• Keeps global technical peers informed of new and emerging technologies and information in their business segment.
• Through expertise based value creation, candidate becomes integral to the customer's business processes and establishes influence on the customer's decision process and business outcomes.
• Create project plans for complex projects and track project completion.
• Represents customer's needs of their assigned business segment to field and factory.
• Technologies range from digital and high-speed SoC technologies.
• Create and deliver customer training classes and consultation materials
• Expect a minimum of 20% travel to various customer and Advantest sites (sometimes in short notice)

Requirements :

Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, or related.
