Position Overview
This role is dedicated to delivering clinical services within the Employee Health department. The primary duties include administering annual flu vaccinations and ensuring tuberculosis (TB) compliance for all employees, as well as managing health compliance for new hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services tailored to employee health needs.
- Administer annual flu shots and ensure flu compliance among staff.
- Conduct annual TB and Respiratory Fit Test compliance, including testing and accurate documentation.
- Manage new hire physical compliance and maintain related documentation.
- Maintain and update the employee health information database.
- Develop and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, forms, and medical records.
- Ensure adherence to Cal / OSHA guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
At least two years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is required.One year or more of experience in Occupational Health is preferred.Experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting (1-2 years) is advantageous.Familiarity with the California Workers' Compensation system is a plus.Knowledge of OSHA, CAL-OSHA, and state labor standards and regulations is preferred.Proficiency with personal computers is required.Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.Education
Graduation from an accredited LVN program is required.Licenses and Certifications
Current California LVN license is mandatory.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider program is required.All candidates must successfully complete a physical evaluation, urine drug screening, and pre-employment background checks prior to starting work.
Compliance with regional COVID-19 vaccination mandates is required, including documented proof of vaccination or an approved exception.
