Are you passionate about working with youth and creating safe, engaging spaces for learning and growth? Join CORA Services as a School Group Leader and help empower children to thrive through compassionate and high-quality programming. As part of our Community Services Division, you’ll be a key player in our Out-of-School Time (OST) programming.
What You’ll Do
- Mentoring : Build strong, positive relationships with a small group of students.
- Leading : Facilitate fun and educational activities, including Social Emotional Learning, STEM projects, and outdoor games.
- Teaching : Implement a curriculum that focuses on literacy and social-emotional development.
- Supervising : Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program time and on field trips.
- Teamwork : Collaborate with other staff to create a positive and supportive environment.
What We’re Looking For
Required :
High school diploma or GEDAt least 2,500 hours of experience working with children (after-school, camp, classroom, babysitting, or volunteer settings, etc.)Commitment to professionalism, safety, and making a difference in the lives of young people!Preferred :
Experience in after-school / OST, camp or recreational settingsCPR / First Aid certificationBilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)Schedule & Compensation :
Pay : $18 / hourSchedule Options : All positions are Monday to FridayBefore School : 7 : 30am-9 : 00amAfter School : 2 : 15pm-6 : 00pmLocations include :
