Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Overflow Med / Surg-Oncology position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and recent specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Medical Overflow unit within a hospital setting
  • This position involves caring for medical-surgical and oncology patients
  • Day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • Responsibilities include providing direct care to med / surg and oncology patients in a hospital setting
  • Oncology RNs must hold ONC certification
  • Orientation and onboarding documents such as skills checklist, references, and license verification will be required

  • Active AK RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent med / surg or oncology nursing experience required
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required, non-expiring within first 30 days
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
