Requirements / Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification ((ONLY) First Aid Certificate required. Certificate must meet guidelines of the American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Driver's License Copy (*Valid California Class C Driver's License)

THE POSITION

Under general supervision, provides safe and efficient transportation in driving a van over an assigned route in the transport of students to and from school or other school-related activities; and performs related work as required.

Candidates hired as van drivers are expected to obtain the required credentials/licenses to become a bus driver in the state of California. Upon certification, the employee will be moved to the Bus Driver classification.
