Pay Range : $50.00 to $60.00

Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, conveniently located in Oneonta, NY, is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

Position Type : Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem

Shift : Evening or Overnight shift (8-hr, 12-hr or 16-hr shifts)

Role Summary :

As a Registered Nurse at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, your role is essential in the well-being of our patients. You will manage patient care on a daily basis and contribute to planning and coordination of care, oversee nursing staff, and provide crucial support for patients and their families, both physically and emotionally.

Key Duties :

Assess patient needs by building strong relationships with patients, families, and others who understand service requirements.

Oversee nursing staff and assignments to meet patient care needs.

Create a compassionate environment that offers emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, their families, and visitors.

Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to protocols and procedures, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Safeguard patients and staff by enforcing infection control policies, medication protocols, and controlled substance regulations.

Promote teamwork and cooperation by facilitating communication and problem-solving with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications :

Active RN Licensure in New York State.
