Operations Supervisor

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the business unit; while acting as the Transdev liaison between the Client's program managers and Transdev employees. They manage a team of operators and ensure efficient delivery of the missions requested by our Client. You will be on the ground floor of new technology that will shape the way people travel. And, at the same time, you will be helping implement and drive change for your community and the world. Autonomous vehicle operators and supervisors play an important role in enabling the client to achieve its goal of developing and commercializing its autonomous driving technology, services, and passenger experiences. Key Responsibilities
Maintain Transdev's high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicleOperate with safety as the primary goalBe the deputy for technology by communicating courteously always with management, engineers, and the publicResponds to system emergencies; investigates and completes accident reports, incidents, and customer complaintsPublic / Customer facing management and leadership of hourly workforceField work and on the road operations with workforce are required to dispatch, respond, and troubleshootStrategic planning and forecasting to meet client demandsRemote workforce management, scheduling, and staffing to meet client requirementsResults driven and capable of translating TAS and client deliverables, KPI and metrics to daily performanceResponds to system emergencies; investigates and completes accident reports, incidents, and customer complaintsAssist team members with payroll, interpersonal issues, and career developmentCommunicate announcements to the team and lead debriefs with safety messages at the forefrontSupport the Client's operations leadership team in daily operations management of dispatch, including mission assignment, leading meetings, and communicating with internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate, monitor and supervise the activities of subordinates. Informs other management personnel regarding operational / personnel problems as appropriate and offer ideas towards resolutionEnsures compliance throughout the division to global process standards and works on continuous improvement initiativesRespond to service problems and investigate and respond to unsafe location / situation reports make recommendations and / or change to resolve the unsafe situationDevelop and schedule program work plan in accordance with specifications in conjunction with the Client's staff; oversee daily operations and coordinates activities of program; determines prioritiesMaintain high degree of confidentiality of all informationApplication of policies, procedures, and standards throughout includes taking personal responsibility for the safety of self and others during testingAll other duties as requiredRequired Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GEDBachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred or 2 or more years Operations experience in leading teamsDegree in Engineering, Operations, or related field - preferredRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency with using a touchscreen smartphone (Android preferred by not required)Ability to use a computer to generate reports and schedulesAbility to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routesGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to detailsAn awareness and willingness to use Operational Excellence tools and techniquesExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively to a large group of driversEnsure compliance throughout the site to global process standards and works on continuous improvement initiativesCoordinate, monitor and supervise the activities of subordinates.
