• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 3 required
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system required
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital experience required

Description :

We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team.

The position requires floating between units.

Weekend shifts are required, with 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

Block scheduling is necessary.

The expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 3.

Candidates must have certifications in TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Experience in trauma care and critical care is preferred.

The department offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.

Patient age groups vary from adolescents to geriatrics.

The daily census averages 136 visits, with a variety of patient diagnoses.

Special procedures include comprehensive stroke care and level 2 trauma.

Nurses may be expected to float between nearby facilities as necessary.

Documentation and compliance with hospital policies are required.
