Position Summary

Under the training and direction of management and supervision, this hands-on position is responsible for using gas powered high pressure washing machines to thoroughly rinsing debris and grime from the concourse and seating bowl following MLB and various exterior based events and projects in various weather conditions.

This role pays an hourly rate of $16.

Benefits : As outlined in union contract.

EVERGREEN ROLE : Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

About the Venue

Citizens Bank Park is a professional baseball stadium located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the city's South Philadelphia Sports Complex. It is the ballpark of Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies. Each year this open-air stadium has the pleasure of hosting the MLB season, concerts, trade shows, corporate events, charity walks, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with debris removal and sorting as needed / instructed in the bowl; following the completion of this debris removal, backpack blowing, and sweeping of the seating bowl, individuals are designated and trained to safely operate commercial pressure washers to thoroughly rinse debris, grime and other contaminants from these surfaces and areas (concourses, footers, seats, cupholders, etc.) in preparation for their next use.
• Safely set up and operate equipment, following proper procedures to avoid damage to property and injury to self and others,
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and property.
• Inspect areas, surfaces, and equipment for hazards or damage prior to beginning work and following completion; communication the issues as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
