Night Shift Nurse

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE : \n

• $15,000 sign on bonus paid out over a one year period.\n\nGraduate of an approved school of licensed practical / vocational nursing.\n
• Current license, in good standing, as an LPN / LVN in the State or Montana or Compact State\n
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES : \n
• Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of the nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks.\n
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.\n
• Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, and suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, conditions, etc.\n
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.\n
• Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to assure proper information about residents is communicated.\n
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.\n
• Assist in the admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, assure that physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc. are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.
