A Tool and Die Maker is a skilled professional responsible for designing, crafting, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and molds used in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret Blueprints : Read and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD specifications to create tools and dies that meet project requirements.
• Machining Operations : Set up and operate various machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to cut, shape, and finish metal and plastic components.
• Tool Construction : Design and fabricate tools, dies, and molds, ensuring they meet precise specifications and tolerances.
• Quality Control : Inspect finished products for defects, smoothness, and conformity to specifications, conducting test runs to ensure functionality.
• Maintenance and Repair : Modify and repair tools and dies as necessary, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition.
• Safety Compliance : Follow established safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
