Pipeline Integrity Technician - California Region Remote

Acuren Inspection is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Technician for our California region. This position is remote, with work primarily on-site in Manteca, CA.

Position Summary

The Pipeline Integrity Technician will perform inspections and assessments of pipeline conditions, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Acuren and customer procedures and specifications, including reporting.
• Perform direct assessments of pipe condition, including coating, soils, topography, and cathodic protection.
• Examine pipes for cracks, corrosion, deformation, and anomalies.
• Correlate findings with Inline Inspection logs.
• Conduct fit-for-service evaluations per ASME B31.3 and RSTRENG standards.
• Perform hazard assessments and follow safe work procedures.
• Calibrate and set up NDE equipment.
• Provide timely, quality services to clients.
• Follow regulatory requirements and work to relevant codes and procedures.
• Manage technical equipment, tools, and assets responsibly.
• Understand pipeline integrity processes, techniques, and procedures.
• Write inspection reports and assist with reporting.
• Maintain metrics on reporting, costs, and productivity.
• Update pipeline integrity databases and manage FTP sites.
• Attend operational meetings with clients and project teams.
• Assist with dig packages and cost estimates.
• Train and guide junior technicians and assistants.
