General Summary

The BY YOUR SIDE Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address sensory processing, attention, executive functioning, fine motor, gross motor, self help, ADLs, adaptive play and leisure skills.

Oversight for Occupational Therapy direct services will be provided by the Manager - Speech and Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for defining goals, collecting data, establishing treatment plans, and communicating with families. Ability to implement skills obtained during trainings and adhere to the companies’ goals and policies.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may frequently be required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. This is full-time position also accepting Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) , and hours of work and days vary based on the needs of clients / business
