Internship Summary

The Winsupply Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to build valuable skills through immersive classroom learning, off-site training, and a collaborative capstone project. The program is structured to promote professional development by offering mentorship, meaningful networking opportunities, and hands-on experience in real-world projects. Participants will not only develop their careers but also make a significant impact within the Winsupply organization, contributing to innovative solutions and long-term success.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and talented Communications Specialist Intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent public speaking and writing skills, with a passion for strategic thinking and meticulous attention to detail. The intern should thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess strong interpersonal and communication abilities. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to driving strategic messages to key internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies, including media outreach and social media content creation.
  • Research and draft press releases, website content, infographics, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of the company’s policies, principles, and strategies while staying informed of relevant industry developments.
  • Help organize press conferences and coordinate events.
  • Collaborate in facilitating resolutions to disputes with external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to the company’s style guide to ensure high-quality, error-free communication materials.
  • Brainstorm content ideas with internal teams to align with the company’s strategy and brand initiatives.
  • Assist in evaluating the results of communication campaigns with the team.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists and external stakeholders.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college, either at the undergraduate or master’s level.
  • One semester post-graduation
