About The Position

Job Title : Technician - First Assist

Location (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Hendersonville, NC (ONSITE)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Working Hours : 6 : 45AM - 5 : 15PM Total Weekly Hours : 40 CSFA - 10 HR Days - Hendersonville, NC

• The CFSA must be credentialed to the same standards as an advanced provider. Due to the urgent need at the facility for this modality the CMO at Pardee is working to fast track FA's through the privilege process for a 12 / 22 / 2025 start date. Standard traveler compliance will still be applicable.
• Contract length : 13 weeks

GSA : up to 36 hours per week. Hours not guaranteed week of orientation or during the holidays where the unit is closed.

Shift : 10hr Days 0645-1715, Attending morning huddle at 0645

Float Requirement : None

On Call / Call Back Requirements : Weekend call - Saturday at 7 am to Monday at 7 am (approx. every 6 weeks)

Weeknight call- clinician will be assigned (1) weeknight of call per week from 7p-7a.

Holiday : (1) 24-hour call once per contract. Recognized holidays : New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Christmas Day

Staff Meeting : 4th week of every month Required Certifications to be attached upon submittal : CSFA Certification (NBSTSA), and AHA BLS

Required CURRENT Experience : STRONG ORTHO BACKGROUND

Total Joints, Orthopedics (multitude of cases), Spine, Urology, Endo, General Surgery, and No Heart or Brain Surgery

Minimum Experience : 1 -2 years based on trauma level experience and must have completed 2 travel assignments

Charting Experience Required : none

Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates 10 ORs, 3 Procedure Rooms
