Cardiac Critical Care - CVICU Advanced Practice Provider (NP / PA)

Full Time - Hospital Employed - Nocturnist Opportunity

Valley Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our multidisciplinary / collegial CVICU team in Winchester, VA at Winchester Medical Center.  This position is an exceptional opportunity for an APP to work in an innovative and collaborative environment in a new and developing program.

Position Summary

• Provide overnight coverage for cardiothoracic surgical ICU patients, working collaboratively with the in-house intensivist and cardiac surgery team
• Manage pre and post operative patients, respond to emergent needs and perform procedures with direction from the intensivist on duty
• PAs : 2 years of ICU experience required
• NPs : 2 years as a critical care and / or CVICU nurse experience required; 2 years of ICU experience preferred as a provider
• Night shift position - schedule 7p-7a
• Patient population includes but not exclusive to cardiac surgery, ECMO, IABP, Impellas, mechanical support patients
