Willingness to care for patients - Newborns (28 days)  to end of life

Patient Ratio-

The patient ratio for ICU is 2 : 1 for all ICU status patients. If Med Surg status patients are in the unit, the ICU nurse often takes 4 : 1 if there are no current ICU status patients.

Patient Population-

The patient population varies, but DKA, Cardiac, Sepsis, Surgical, and high-risk-of-decline patients are often admitted to the ICU
