Show Place Arena / Prince George's Equestrian Center Seasonal Position

The Show Place Arena / Prince George's Equestrian Center is a multipurpose facility owned and operated by The Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission under the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County. Our facility operations team is responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and equipment, to ensure they function efficiently in order to provide a productive and safe environment. Salary range of $16.00 / hour - $18.00 / hour depending on position and experience.
Examples of Important Duties
Opportunities include : Facility Operations Staff Custodial and Event Support Assistant Cleans and stocks bathrooms and maintains supplies during events. Empties trash and ash cans and office recyclable materials. General cleaning of the facility. Cleans around the buildings and parking lots. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Must have the ability to effectively interact with the public and provide courteous service. Must be able to work evenings and / or nights, including weekends. Custodial and Event Support Specialist Performs all duties of the Custodial and Event Support Assistant in addition to setting up and tearing down events. Keeps ramps and sidewalks free of snow and debris. May be required to clean horse stalls and perform general maintenance of buildings. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Must have the ability to effectively interact with the public and provide courteous service. Must be able to work evenings and / or nights, including weekends.
