Job Overview

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining detailed AP records. Your contributions will support the company's financial health and vendor relationships, making this a key role within the finance team.

Accounts Payable Specialist Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record vendor invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies identified
  • Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding or unresolved items
  • Prepare weekly check runs and assist with payment processing activities
  • Support expense allocations and provide reporting assistance related to accounts payable

Accounts Payable Specialist Requirements

  • Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data management
  • Strong focus on accuracy and meticulous data entry
  • Previous experience in accounts payable is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
