Job description

Job Title : Electromechanical Technician

Job Location - San Francisco, CA

Duration - 05 months with potential extension

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to sign an NDA upon hire. The role involves working with electric vehicles and complex electromechanical robotics systems.

Required Qualifications

Experience with electric vehicles, including battery systems, motor controllers, and HVDC.
Proficiency in assembling and troubleshooting complex electromechanical robotics systems.
Experience in fabricating, assembling, and troubleshooting electric vehicle or industrial robotics wiring and electrical systems, including soldering, crimping, and cable management.
Ability to manage part inventory and builds.
Experience with Jira ticketing.
Skills in revising, updating, and writing assembly instructions and processes.
Basic fabrication skills for metal and plastic, such as drilling, grinding, and cutting.
Excellent shop organization skills.

Nice to Have

CAN debugging skills.

Familiarity with AV sensors, including calibration, firmware flashing, and configuration.

Ability to read circuit schematics and harness drawings.

Experience using EE bench test equipment.

Proficiency with Linux / Terminal.

Experience managing Jira ticketing boards and creating workflows.

Solidworks experience or an interest in learning it.

Advanced fabrication skills, such as welding, mill, lathe, CNC, and laser cutting.

Experience with mobile, industrial, or combat robotics.
