Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) – $68-$73 / hour | Full-Time | Long Island City, Queens (NYC)

Location : Long Island City, Queens

Pay Rate : $68-$73 / hour

Schedule : Monday to Friday | 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM or 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Employment Type : Full-Time, Contract

We are actively seeking an experienced Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Long Island City. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering competitive pay up to $73 / hour, a consistent weekday schedule, and the chance to work alongside a highly skilled medical team.

Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a liaison between patients and the medical team
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures
• Start intravenous fluids to administer contrast media or special dyes
• Administer barium enemas or solutions prior to procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall status during procedures
• Identify and respond to unexpected reactions in patients
• Administer analgesia and sedation under instruction
• Update medical staff on patient progress and status
• Operate and monitor radiology machines to ensure accurate results
• Assist with interpretation of diagnostic images
