Social Worker

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Master's degree and certification as a licensed school social worker in the State of Michigan or individuals with a LARA license certification : Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.

2. School Social Worker experience preferred.

3. Experience in group, individual, and family counseling. The ability to connect families with community resources.

4. Strong interpersonal communication skills in working with students, staff, administration and parents.

5. Strong organizational skills required.

6. Demonstrated experience working with students that have behavioral or emotional needs.

7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
