Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to manage our financial records using QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial data is up to date, accessible, and aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Record and categorize expenses, income, and other financial transactions
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare financial documentation for audits and tax filings
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting roleProficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop is requiredStrong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practicesExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience with payroll processing and tax reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google SheetsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredCertification in QuickBooks (preferred but not required)
