About The Position We are seeking a licensed Interventional Cardiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, with a combination of clinic and procedural duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring comprehensive cardiovascular services. Job Details Location : Kentucky Start Date : Nov 3, 2025 LOA : 120 days Provider Type Needed : Interventional Cardiologist Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm; includes 3 half days in the clinic and procedural days Responsibilities and Duties Provide interventional cardiology services in both clinic and hospital settings Maintain a half-day clinic schedule at an outreach location weekly Manage patient follow-ups (15 minutes) and new patient assessments (30 minutes) Perform procedures in the Cath Lab, with potential to increase procedural volume Participate in a call schedule, supporting both interventional and non-interventional needs Ensure high-quality care, with an average door-to-balloon time for STEMI patients under 60 minutes Additional Information Must be board certified in Interventional Cardiology Valid Kentucky medical license required Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Epic No office-based procedures are involved Facilities include a 24-bed ICU, 6-bed CVICU, and multiple specialized labs Apply now to learn more!
