We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Municipal Land Use Attorney with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in representing clients in administrative hearings and an in-depth understanding of the municipal land use laws and regulations. This position will play a crucial role in advising clients on land use issues, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in administrative hearings. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who is able to handle a high volume of cases and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
1. Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on matters related to municipal land use.
2. Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to land use.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis on various municipal land use issues.
5. Prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and other documents for administrative hearings.
6. Advise clients on the interpretation and application of municipal land use laws and regulations.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
8. Stay updated on changes in municipal land use laws and regulations.
9. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications :
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Municipal Land Use Attorney or a similar role.
3. Must be licensed to practice law in the state or able to become licensed.
4. Proven experience representing clients in administrative hearings.
5. In-depth knowledge of municipal land use laws and regulations.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
8. Ability to work independently.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
10. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
11. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
