Overview of role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Benefits and Compensation Specialist to support the daily operations of our total rewards function. This role will assist in administering employee benefits programs, maintaining compensation records, and supporting compliance and reporting tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Support the compensation function by maintaining pay records, preparing compensation reports, and assisting in salary survey submissions.
  • Utilize ADP and Workday to update employee records, process benefit enrollments / changes, and generate reports.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with open enrollment processes, data entry, and system testing.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly benefit invoices and coordinate payments with Finance.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the team on various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or compensation support.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Workday is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
