Job Overview :

Principal Geotechnical Engineer takes the lead in planning, designing, and directing geotechnical engineering or construction testing / inspection on simple to complex projects by performing the following duties. Expectations include using education, intelligence, and common sense to resolve problems and tasks that are assigned.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree encouraged) from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum 10 years relevant experience or the equivalent thereof.

Duties :

  • Oversees project budgets, schedules, and profitability; ensures timely completion and financial success of projects.
  • Manages client relationships, leads marketing efforts, attends meetings, and develops strategies to secure new work.
  • Serves as a technical expert; ensures high-quality deliverables, supervises civil engineering teams, and upholds quality standards.
  • Directs and mentors civil engineering staff, coordinates workloads, and supports professional development.
  • Handles contract administration, scopes work, prepares agreements, and ensures proper execution and billing.
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
