HELIOS is seeking a highly experienced Training Specialist to join our dedicated team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital research and development, testing, evaluation, engineering, and fleet support activities for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex logistics projects within NSWCPD Code 60, which oversees the Compatibility Test Facility, ensuring the seamless delivery of innovative solutions that bolster national defense.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Develop, implement, and evaluate training programs tailored to the needs of NSWCPD Code 60 and its operational requirements.
- Coordinate and manage logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, resource allocation, and facility management.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure training content aligns with current testing and evaluation procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation to ensure compliance with Navy and Department of Defense standards.
- Support the integration of new technologies and methodologies into existing training frameworks.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to trainees and team members on technical and operational topics.
- Monitor and assess training effectiveness, making improvements as necessary to enhance learning outcomes.
This is position is contingent on contract award. Veterans receive hiring preference.

The following are the minimum requirements for this position :
Possess a current, active SECRET ClearanceExperience working with and handling U-NNPI Information.Must be a U.S. CitizenShall have Bachelor's level degree in a Technical Field, Education, Psychology or related Training Systems discipline.Three (3) years of experience with development and issuance of classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, distance learning, satellite training, other computer-aided instructional technologies, videos, simulators, and workshops.Experience setting up teaching materials and lesson plans prior to the class.
