Your Role as a Physical Therapist Assistant :
As a PTA, you will :
Follow state-specific laws governing physical therapy in home care, ensuring compliance with the treatment plan set by the supervising PT.Instruct and assist patients in various exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and activities of daily living (ADL).Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment, coordinating care with the healthcare team as needed.Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy practices within your scope of work.License Requirements :
Current license, registration, or certification to assist in the practice of physical therapy in your state.Current CPR certification is required.Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation or public transit.Ready to make a difference?
