Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Banking in Grass Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional customer service by implementing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including participation in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a composed, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure setting.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the financial institution to support compliance with security-related protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and / or hazards according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and / or emergency personnel when required for security-related incidents.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
