Travel RN Job Details Location : Columbus, Ohio (43210) – Ohio nursing jobs Unit : General Medicine – 11 East Rhodes Hall Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (Med / Surg Tele) Start Date : January 5, 2026 End Date : April 6, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 30 – 07 : 30) Total Hours : 36 hours per week Patient Ratios : 1 : 3 (estimated) Weekend & Rotating Holidays : Required Floating : Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity Estimated Weekly Salary : $1940-$1990 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission BLS certification required Strong skills in IV starts and telemetry monitoring EPIC charting experience required Previous travel nurse experience preferred Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Ability to float to different units as needed Two professional references required (at least one from a manager / director or formal leadership role) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical and surgical needs Monitor and interpret telemetry, initiate and manage IV lines, and provide wound care Administer medications and manage drips (heparin, insulin) Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient care coordination Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services Participate in rapid response / code teams as needed Float to other nursing units within the organization as required Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Med / Surg Tele Registered Nurse in Columbus, Ohio.
