Position Summary / Department Summary : We are currently seeking a full-time outpatient social work position (40 hours) to provide a range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families in our Orthopedics / Cerebral Palsy Program.Key Responsibilities : Psychosocial screening and assessment; ongoing work with families facing chronic illness and facilitation of complex care needsProvision of resource information and referral and psychosocial consultation to the multidisciplinary team.Opportunities also for program development in collaboration with multidisciplinary team and other social worker on the service.Minimum QualificationsEducation : Master’s degree in social workExperience : Social work experience in medical environment highly preferredExcellent communication skillsFlexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment idealLicensure / Certifications : LCSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts is required, LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts highly preferred.New hires are eligible for a $5,000 sign on bonus The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
