Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is suited for a dedicated School Psychologist with a passion for supporting K-12 students through comprehensive evaluations and behavioral assessments. The role focuses primarily on conducting evaluations for eligibility and completing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) along with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), contributing to the educational success and well-being of students.

Location : Near Warren, Oregon

Hours : 32 hours per week

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM

Contract Duration : 25-26 school year (SY)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans as needed
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student learning and behavioral outcomes
  • Contribute expertise to schools developing and refining Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid Oregon School Psychologist license required
  • Familiarity with rural community dynamics and educational contexts
  • Strong knowledge of Oregon education laws, regulations, and special education systems
  • Confidence and demonstrated experience working in schools still developing MTSS frameworks
