YL CAREER COUNSELOR

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Identifies and meets both the personal and career counseling needs of all students on assigned caseload through individual counseling and group counseling sessions in accordance with PRH Chapter 3; 3.3 Personal and Career Counseling. Assist students in obtaining the appropriate support and resources needed to successfully complete the program. Counsels and assists students in obtaining quality career development services and ensures students follow a career path of growth and development resulting in long-term careers and employment. Must be available to work Sunday one(1) 8 hour shift on a rotation. Hours Monday 8:00am-5:00pm Tuesday and Wednesday 11:00am-8:00pm Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor Degree with 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction and one year experience in counseling or related field.
