Position : Medical Receptionist - Patient Service Specialist

Location : 2804 N. Univeristy Drive Coral Springs FL 33065

Type of Employment : Part -time

Schedule : Monday-Thursday 3 : 00pm-7 : 00pm Friday 1 : 00pm-5 : 00pm

Compensation : $15.00-$18.00 / hour

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Coral Springs we want them to have an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. Thats where you come in. As a patient service specialist youll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Dont underestimate the impact you can make on every patients care experience even before they leave the waiting room.

Our Coral Springs clinic is looking for a Part-Time Patient Service Specialist to work afternoons on a set schedule. This is a great position for a college student with morning classes. The opportunity to work additional hours to cover vacations optional for this position as well.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices insurance companies and translation companies market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications
