Sr. Data Scientist

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and manufacturing sector, is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist/Analyst to join their team. As a Sr. Data Scientist/Analyst, you will be part of the Worldwide Cost Desk (WWCD) supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Data Scientist/Analyst

Location:Longmont, Colorado

What's the Job?

• Support WWCD with cost analysis, automation, and cost prediction to aid product and business roadmap decisions
• Perform detailed analysis of complex product costs using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx/KNIME
• Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to identify and validate data inputs for analysis
• Apply predictive analytics to evaluate and forecast future program costs
• Design and manage large analytical projects, ensuring data accuracy and clear, concise, and business-relevant insights for key stakeholders

What's Needed?

• Deep understanding with proven skills in data science and analytics
• Strong working knowledge of Alteryx and/or KNIME, Tableau, and Excel
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, linking, formatting, and charts
• Financial modeling experience
• Ability to multitask and work independently
