A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with operators, engineers, supervisors, and managers to keep production moving while ensuring products meet Siemens Energy standards. You will partner with operators to answer questions, address issues that arise during building and servicing of Gas Turbine Rotors, review specifications and issues with design engineering to resolve questions and product deviations, work with scheduler to maintain production on time delivery by ensuring routers are ready and complete when needed, make presentations and report to managers on projects. Your duties may change from day to day as there are different issues and opportunities.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Support production activities by answering process questions and resolving product non-conformance issues using established processes.
• Provide 24 / 7 shop support and weekend support as needed to meet customer deadlines.
• Develop, write, test (simulate), and optimize CNC programs for numeric-controlled tooling machinery, primarily HBMs.
• Determine and describe tooling machine setups including positioning and fixing of workpiece and tool relative to machine axes.
• Provide up-to-date CNC programs, documented setups, and tooling information (tool list, offsets, etc.) for CNC-machined operations.
• Lead a manufacturing team to execute a product through the shop, ensuring preparedness and in-process support.
