Riverwood Center is located in beautiful Southwest Michigan with staff at seven sites across Berrien County. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and a member of Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards, and the National Council for Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities :

Provides video and face-to-face triage, crisis intervention, brief therapeutic interventions, initial assessments, and pre-admission screenings to

consumers presenting to the behavioral health urgent care as well as those requesting services

Qualifications :

Masters Degree in an appropriate mental health discipline.

Two or more years experience providing treatment to individuals with a mental illness

Experience in treating individuals with substance use disorders preferred

Excellent computer and interpersonal skills, punctuality, ability to organize and manage several projects / tasks simultaneously, and

work independently.

Licensure / Certification :

Licensed by the Michigan Department of Commerce or Professional Regulation as a Master's Social Worker, Limited Licensed Psychologist and / or

Counselor.

Preferred candidates will possess CAADC or eligible for Development Plan. Must become fully licensed within 30 months of date of hire.
